Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Louise Jackson of 813 Johnston’s
road were conducted Wednesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  The Rev. Harold
Gregory officiated.  Interment followed in Roosevelt Memorial Park with B. F.
King Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Jackson, who died Saturday enroute to a hospital, was a native of New Bern
NC and a daughter of the late Tom and Mrs. Hattie Sawyer.

The deceased, the wife of Lonnie L. Jackson, was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic
Church.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Redding, a sister,
Mrs. Lillian Hobbs of Norfolk;  three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
