Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, Jul 1, 1961
Willie McWilliams Sr., 85, of 1060 Kane Street, who died Saturday at his home,
received funeral rites Wednesday at Oakwood Chapel with the Rev. Joe Foulks
officiating.

Burial was in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery under direction of E. A. Hughes
Funeral Home.

A native of Halifax county, NC, Mr. McWilliams was a Norfolk resident 60 years.
 He retired from the Virginian Railroad in 1952, after serving since 1917.

The deceased leaves a son, Willie McWilliams Jr.;  a daughter, Mrs. Ella
Clayton;  five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
