Walker of the 800 block of W. 37th St., died June 11, 2004, at Tandem Health Care. Born in Florence, S.C., she was retired from Old Dominion University as a food service worker. She was a founding member of Bethel Apostolic Church. The widow of Sampson Walker , S.C., she is survived by three daughters, Katherine Fletcher of Norfolk, Constance Myles and husband David of Newport News and Theresa Walker of Norfolk; two sons, Sampson Walker Jr. and wife Deloris and Malachi V. Walker, both of Norfolk; a brother, Alex George Sr. of Effingham, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Bertha George. A funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Bethel Apostolic Church by Pastor Thomasine McClendon. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. and will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will assemble at Carlos A.
