Cemetery Location:  1 mile east of Chester, Virginia on Route #10, thence north 
                    on Route #617 about .8 mile east side of road.
                    Chesterfield County

OWNERS:

The Johnson graveyard is so called because it is located on the Johnson farm.  
The persons interred here, however, are in no way connected with the Johnson 
family.

DESCRIPTION:

Here are only four tombstones; one having been broken off and now stands against 
a corner of the old fence that once completely encircled the place, though now 
rapidly deteriorating.

This graveyard, which is very small and buried deep beneath many seasons of mold 
and leaves, lies in a hard forest, about two tenths of a mile from the Johnson 
home.  Though it has apparently been neglected for many years, the tombstones 
and the inscriptions they bear are well preserved.
