It lies secluded deep in a jungle-like mass of scrubby trees and tall ones, honeysuckle, periwinkle, briars and pine needles. Here are several tombstones, all dating back to the early part of the nineteenth century. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The inscriptions on these are as follows: In Memory of Merit Wooldridge Who was Born Sept. 13th, 1802 and Died May 18th, 1841 I have loved thee on earth, may I meet thee in Heaven In Memory of William E. Wooldridge Son of Merit and Charlotte Wooldridge Who died Nov. 9, 1824 Aged 3 weeks In Memory of Frederick W.G.A.
