Mary Archer
Power of Attorney - July 13, 1795

Know all men by these presents that I, Mary Archer, of Chesterfield County do make and appoint 
Alexander Snellings of this same county my attorney in fact to do and transact all of my business 
of any kind whatsoever and I oblige myself and my heirs to abide by whatever he may do for me 
or in my name and that it shall be as good and valid in law as if done by myself and in particular to 
manage and carry on the affairs of my plantation and all my interest of every kind appertaining or 
belonging in any wise thereunto which I am entitled to by the will of my late husband, John 
Archer, deceased.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of 
July one thousand seven hundred ninety five.
