Mrs. Ida Belle Miles, wife of the late James E. Miles, died yesterday afternoon at
6:05 o’clock in her 
home after an illness of several months. 
Mrs. Miles was born at Winterpock and had resided in Chesterfield County her entire
life. 
Surviving are six daughters; Mrs Lilly Gettings, of Chesterfield County, Mrs. Nellie
Costley, of 
Hopewell, Mrs. Lottie Elder, Mrs. John Patterson, Mrs. Mary Whitehurst and Mrs.
Arthur Green, all of 
Colonial Heights; one son, Frank Miles, of Louisville, Ky. Also 40 grandchildren,
and 50 great 
grandchildren. 
Interment will be in the Bethia Methodist Church Cemetery near Winterpock.
