In the name of God Amen. I young Beasley of the County of Chesterfield State of Virginia being of sound and Disposing mind and Memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following viz- Item 1st. I wish my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid. Item 2nd. I give and bequest unto my Daughter Mary E. Beasley one Negro woman named Judy and the increase of the said woman after my death also one bead to her and her heirs forever. Item 3rd. I give unto my three children Micky Ann John & Henry Beasley one dollar each to them and their heirs forever. Item 4th. I give unto my daughter Isabella Beasley one Negro boy named mose to her and her heirs forever but in the event the said Isabella should die having no issue of her body lawfully begotten then it is my will and desire and I do hereby give him unto my daughter Rosina Beasley to her and her heirs forever. Item 5th. I give unto my daughter Rosina Beasley one Negrow boy named William to her and her heirs and assigns forever but should the said Rosina die without having any issue of her body lawfully begotten then I give the said boy William unto my said Daughter Isabella Beasley to her and her heirs and assigns forever. Item 6th. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Martha one Negrow girl named Christina to her, her heirs and assigns forever. I also leave unto my wife during her natural life all of my Estate not already given away of every kind and description whatsoever and at her death I give the same unto my two children Isabella and Rosina Beasley to them their heirs and assigns forever. It is also my will and desire that my two Negrow boys Mose and William be kept and held by my wife during her natural life for the support and maintenance of her and my two children Isabella & Rosina Beasley. Item 7th. And lastly I constitute and appoint my friend William E. Gill Executor to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. Gill Richard(hisXmark)Childres In Chesterfield County Court August the 12th 1850 the last Will and Testament of Young Beasley decd. was produced in Court for probat, and John Beasley appeared & entered himself as a contestant to the probat thereof. Which was continued until the next term. And in said Court November the 11th 1850 the said Will was again produced in Court for probat and proven by the oath of Wm. E. Gill & Richard Childres subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And on the motion of Wm. E. Gill Executor therein named who entered into bond with security conditioned as the law directs and took the oath required by law.
