In the name of God Amen I Milton Beasley of the County of Chesterfield and State of Virginia do make this my last Will and Testament as follows. 1st. I give and bequest to my sister Obedience Beasley all my interest in the land in which I now live being one sixth part of the same. 2nd. I give and bequeath to my sister Obedience Beasley all of the money now in my possession or which I may have at my death also all of the money which is owing to me by the government of the confederate states for my service as a soldier for 11 months and a half in 1861 and in 1862. 3rd. I give and bequeath to my sister Obedience Beasly all of the personal estate I own of every description the whole of the above legacies I give and grant to her and her heirs forever witness the following signature & seal.
