Will of Stephen Cheatham of Manchester Parish.

To wife Elizabeth, land and plantation where I live, 2 negroes and
items. After her death, said land, 266 acres, to be divided among my
five sons: Stephen, William, Josiah, Joel and Ezekiel, Stephen having
the liberty to choose the part where he lives and ezekiel to have the
part with the plantation.
To daughers: Mary Purdue, Prudence cheatham, Rany bowman, Elizabeth
Farmer and tabitha Cheatham, each, a cow various items to specific 
sons and daughters executors: son stephen and Thomas wooldrdge
Dated 12 May 1783
Wit: Richard Cheatham, James Turner, Grace Cheatham.

Will of John Bowman - Chesterfield county VA 

To wife Lorany, Items 
To daughter betsy bowman, items. The rest I lend to my wife until
daughter Betsy is 18 or married, and then to said Betsy.
