All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ==================================================================== In the name of God, amen, I, Daniel Stone of the county of Chesterfield and parish of dale, being in my perfect sences, mind and memory praised be God, do give and dispose of all my worldly goods and estate in manner and from following viz all my Just debts being first paid. Imprimis, I give unto my son Giles Stone all my land I have and do hold in King and Queen county, after the Death of my wife, I also do give unto my aforesaid son to be delivered to him at his coming to the age of Twenty one years or married Ten pound cash and one feather bed and furniture to him, his heirs and assigns forever. Item, I lend unto my loveing wife, Sarah Stone during her life or Widowhood all the rest of my estate both real and personal but in case she marries then to be divided amongst my following named children: Charity, Rowland, and Daniel Stone, and wife Sarah Stone. Also my will and desire is that when my aforesaid wife marries or dies that then my estate which I have lent to my aforesaid loveing wife, may be divided as I have before directed and my moveable estate sold to the highest bidder and the negroes hired out and the money also put to use until my aforesaid children comes to the age of Twenty one years or marries. My will and desire Further is that my sons may be bound out at the discretion of my wife to some handy craft, traid or business to enable them to get a livelihood. Item, I give unto my daughter Charity Stone the time and service of Prisaciller Scott as she was bound to me by order of Henrico court till she should come to the age of Twenty one years. Item, I give and bequeath unto my son, Giles Stone, a Mellatto named Ezekiel Scott as he was bound to me till he should come to the age of Twenty one years by order of Henrico court. Item, I give unto my son Daniel Stone, Milner Scott, a mellatto boy bound to me by an order of Henrico court till he should come to the age of Twenty one years. Also my will & desire that if any one of my aforesaid children should die without heir that his part of my estate be divided amongst my surviveing children. I also appoint and ordain my loveing wife Executrix and my son Giles Stone Executor to this my last will and Testament and in Witness whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this 7th day Jan’y anno Dom 1774.
