In the Name of God Amen I Moses Fargusson of the County of Chesterfield being Sick and weak but of perfect memory thanks be to God I do ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. Item I give and Bequeath my Soul to God that gave it in hopes of his acceptance theirof through the merrits of Christ my Saviour and my Body to the yearth from it was taken to be Buried by the Discretion of my Executor. Item I give and bequeath to my Son John Fargusson and to his Heirs forever the Land he now lives on containing Five hundred Acres. Item I give and bequeath to my Son Daniel Fargusson and to his Heirs forever the Land he now lives on containing Two hundred eighty eight Acres. Item I give and bequeath to my two Daughters Jean and Elizabeth Three hundred Acres of Land Joyning the Spring Run and Third Branch to them and to their Heirs for Ever the land to be Equally divided and my Daughter Jean to have the Plantation Part. Item I give and Bequeath to my Son Aaron Fargusson two hundred Acres of Land Lying on the Horsepen Branch to him and to his Heirs forever. Item I give and Bequeath to my Son Joshua Fargusson one Negro Gall naimed Lett But in case the said Joshua Die without an Heir Lawfully Begotten then the said Negro Lett to be equally divided among all my Children. Item I give to my Daughter Jean one Bed and furniture the Bed she calls hir own to hir and hir Heirs for Ever. Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth one Bed and furniture it being the Bed with a low Bed Hid to hir and to hir Heirs for Ever. Item I give to my Son Aaron one Bed and furniture to his likeing or Eight Pounds to Buy one. Item I give to my Daughter Jean forty Shillings Cash to Buy Puter I give to my Son Aaron forty Shillings cash to Buy Puter I give to my Daughter Jean Two Cows and Calves to her likeing or Three Pounds ten Shillings Cash. Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth forty shillings to Buy Puter. Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Two Cows and Calves to her likeing or Three Pounds ten shillings Cash. Item I give to my Son Aaron Two Cows and Calves to his likeing or three Pounds ten shillings Cash I also give to Aaron a young horse of three years old to his likeing or Four Pounds to Buy one I also give to my Daughter Jean the Mare she calls hir own and one Saddle she calls hir own I also give to my Daughter Elizabeth Forty one shillings Cash to Buy a Saddle. Item I give to my little grand Child Winny a young Mair of three years old to hir likeing or three Pounds Cash. Item I give to my grand Daughter Winny Eight Pounds Cash but in case She Should Die before she is of age or Marrid the Money to be equally divided among all my Children. Item I give to my beloved wife Martha the Plantation I now live on During her natural Life also a Negro Gall naimed Phillis During her life but after hir Decease the Plantation and the Negro Gall and hir Increase to be equally divided among all my children I also give to my Son John one Negro Man named Sesar to him and his Heirs for Ever I also give to my Son Daniel one Negro Gall named Frank to him and his Heirs for Ever. Item I give to my Daughter Jean one Negro Wench named Sarah to hir and hir Heirs for Ever only the said Sarah to keep hir young Child Sue till it be Six years old. Item I give to my Son Joshua the young Child Sue. Item I give to my Daughter Elizabeth one Negro Gall named Agg to hir and hir Heirs forever. Item I give to my Son Aaron one Negro Boy named Antony to him and his Heirs for Ever. Item I give to my beloved wife the Side Saddle she calls hir own also one Bed and furniture she calls hir own and a Chest she calls hir own. My Will is that the Remaining part of Money not given away and my Goods and Chattels not mentioned be equally divided Betwixt my beloved wife and all my children. I also appoint my two Sons John and Daniel to be my hole and sole Executors of this my last Will Revoking all other Wills by me made.
