In the name of God Amen, I Obedience Hatcher of the County of Chesterfield being of sound mind & memory do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following, that is to say first my debts & funeral Expences being first paid. ITEM. I give to my son Joel Hatcher my Eagol Mare called Bonney & my Bed & Furniture & all my stock of Cattle, also one Iron Pot of twelve or thirteen Gallons, also one large Chest, & one large puter dish, & one frying pan, one five Gallon Ceder Pail, one Tin Kettle. ITEM. I give to my daughter in law Luce Hatcher, one Yarn Gound & pete coat. ITEM. I give to Frances Hatcher my Black Gound, & one small puter Dish. ITEM. I give to Jean Hatcher one Cotton Gound Stript with Coppro_ & Pete Coat. ITEM. I give to my Grandaughter Ruth Hatcher one Large __________ Dish & one large black wonnott square Table. ITEM. I give to my Grandaughter Keziah Franklin one pair of Cotton Sheets, and the Residue of my wareing Close that I have not already disposed of. LASTLY I appoint my son William Hatcher & my son Joel Hatcher my Executors of this my last Will & Testament revoking all former Wills by me made.In Witness whereof I hear set my hand and Seel this Seventeenth day of July One Thousand seven Hundred and seventy two.
