In The Name of God Amen. I Branch Perdue being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make this my last will and testament as follows. 1st. It is my Will and desire that my funeral expenses and all of my Just debts be paid out of my estate both real and personal. 2nd. I give and bequeath unto my Children Elizabeth D. Vest, Mary D. F_ith, Julia F. Turner, Marilla W. Patraue, Virginia A. Cox, Cleopatra E. Sp__nser, Samantha S. Kidd. Thomas H. Perdue, and M.B. Perdue, the sum of one Dollar each to them and their heirs forever. 3rd. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Maria L. Perdue all the rest and residue of my Estate both real and personal to her and her heirs forever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of June 1884.
