In the Name of God Amen, I Henry Randolph of Chesterfield County do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following. Imprimis. I give & devise to my Son John & his Heirs forever that part of my Land called the old Plantation containing by Estimation one Thousand Acres being the Land whereon I now live. ITEM. I give and devise unto my Son William and his Heirs forever that part of my Land distinguished by the name of Rich N___. ITEM. I give and devise all my Lands in Amelia to be equally divided between my two Sons Peter & Thomas & their Heirs forever. ITEM. I give and devise all my Slaves & Personal Estate to be equally divided amongst all my Children & their Several Heirs forever. ITEM. My desire is that all my Lands in the County of Chesterfield except what I have already devised to my Son John & William be Sold either altogether or in parcels & at such Credits as my Executors herein after named shall think proper & this Money arising thereby & the profits of my Estate after maintaining my family & paying my Debts be applyed to the payment of the Legacies herein after mentioned. ITEM. I give and devise to my two Sons Robert & Richard the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds each to be paid out of the Sale of my Lands & the profits of my Estate. ITEM. My Will and desire is that all the Lands devised to my Sons John, William, Peter, & Thomas, & my Slaves & personal Estate be kept in the possession of my Executors untill my Debts & the Legacies to my two Sons Robert & Richard Shall be raised. I also desire that my unmarried Children be maintained out of the profits of my Estate in such manner as my Executors Shall think fit. LASTLY I constitute & appoint my Wife, my Son John, Major Peter Poythress, John Gilliam Sen. & John Gilliam Jun.
