In the name of God amen I John B. Taylor of the County of Chesterfield State of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make this my last will and testament. First That my funeral expenses and just debts to be paid. And then all of my property except my gun and accoutrements to go to my beloved wife Rebecca Taylor in fee simple. Secondly I give to my Grandson B____man Taylor my gun & accoutrements in fee simple. Lastly I appoint my son Edwin S. Gregory Exor of this my last will and testament without any security. Gill Jr. In Chesterfield County Court Aug. 14,1865 The last Will and Testament of Jno. B. Taylor was presented in Court and proved by the oaths of E.S. Gregory Wm. F. Gill Jr. and Tho's. J. Woodcock subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. On motion of E.S. Gregory the Exor. named in said will entered into bond with security conditioned as the law directs and who took the oath required by law.
