In the name of God amen. I Rebecca Taylor of Chesterfield County and State of Virginia being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make this my last will and testament as follows. Item 1st. That my cow to be sold to pay my just debts & funeral expenses. Item 2nd. I give unto my son Henry T. Taylor one saddle two sheep and calf when cow has it, and it obtains the age of six weeks. Item 3rd. I will unto my Grand daughter Maria P. Woodcock my set of China & casters. Item 4th. I will unto my grand daughter Margaret E. Woodcock wife of T. J. Woodcock one plain white counterpaine & bed quilt. Item 5th. I give unto my grand daughter Mary F. Smith wife of B_____y Smith one debrazo dress. Item 6th. I will unto my Grand daughter Susan M. Taylor one dress unmade. Item 7th. I will unto my Grandson Zacharis Taylor half dozen plates & bedstead & furniture. Item 8th. I give unto my Grandson George W. Taylor two sheep & fild(?) Iron. Item 9th. I give unto my daughter Sally W. Woodcock my chest & contents & chamber chairs. Item 10th. I will unto Mrs. Ada Anderson one _______ calico dress. And the remainder of my property to be sold to help pay my debts. Lastly I appoint my friend Edwin S. Gregory Exor. to this my last will and testament. Gregory & Thomas J. Bowman subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. On motion of E.S. Gregory Exor. named in said will entered into bond with security conditioned as the law directs and who took the oath required by law. Certificate of probat is granted him on said Estate in due form.
