Will of Robert Traylor - 1773
(Will Book 2, page 8, Chesterfield Co.VA.)

In the Name of God Amen,I Robert Traylor of Dale Parish in Chesterfield
County being weak of body but of sound & perfect mind & memory thanks
be to God, do make & ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner &
form following.
First. I will that all my just Debts & Funeral expences be first paid
& discharged.
Also. I give devise & bequeath unto my Brother Humphree Traylor the
tract or parcel of Land I hold in the s'd. County & bounded by the 
Lands of George Traylor John Andrews Humphree Traylor & Appomattox 
River containing one Hundred acres or be the same more or less, to him
his Heirs & Assigns for ever.
Also. I devise all the rest of my Estate to be equally Divided between
my brothers George & Feddrick Traylor & my Nephew Thomas Daves, to be
divided by my Executors hereafter mentioned, as nigh equally among them
three as they think proper to them their Heirs & assigns forever.
Also. It is my will & desire that my Estate may not be Inventoried nor
Appraised.
Lastly I do constitute & appoint my unkle John Cousins my whole & Sole
Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all Wills by
me heretofore made either by word or in writing ratifying & confirming
this & no other to be my last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this Seventh day of 
November In the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy
three.
