In the name of God amen I Valentine West of Chesterfield County - Parish of
Manchester One thousand seven hundred seventy-six & of a sound and perfect
mind thanks be to Almighty God for it & calling to mind that is is once
appointed for all men to die do make my last Will & Testament in manner &
form following Viz. that is to say

First commend my Soul in the hands of my Saviour Jefus Christ hoping to
have full & free pardon of all my Sns & to inherit Eternal Life & my Body I
commit to the Earth to be decentlyburied at the discretion of my fellow
Subjects

Item I Will that my sister Elizabeth West may be my sole Executor

Item I will to my Sister Elizabeth West five Barrells of Corn at
GeorgeVandens also five Barrells of corn at John Vandens [or Candens]  &
five Bushells of wheat also at John Shutsbeary's four & 1/2 Bushells of
Wheat also at George Wests three pounds Cash also five Barrells of Corn &
also one pound twelve Shillings you had my order on Thomas Burton also
three pounds at James Wests also forty Shillings at John Patterson also
oneViolen (Violin) at Claibon Pucketts The Accompts left with John Graves
my Cloaths with John Graves

Item I Will the above Articles to my Sister Elizabeth West & Do disanull
all other Wills before made & do make this my last Will & Testament Witnefs
my hand & seal this fourteenth Day of February in the year above written
