Dundas, James, born at Alexandria, Virginia in 1788: he settled in Philadelphia 
and became president of the Pennsylvania Bank. He was prominent in many local 
enterprises, and at the time of his death was president of the Pennsylvania 
Horticultural Society. He died in Philadelphia, July 4, 1865.
