Thomson (father of Wm Thomson and son of Dr. John Thomson of Berryville Va who was the son of Rev James Thomson a Church of England Clergyman from Glasgow Scotland who settled in Fauquier Co. Va. in 1769) was married to Frances E. Sydnor on the 14t of Novr 1839 at the house of her Aunt M. Fanny __cheske_, in Fairfax Co Va. David S. Danner and Mary Eyster were married on the 5d of April 1821 William Sydnor Thomson was married to Neva Danner by Rev Wm. F. Cook, at the house of Dr. B.R. Strong in the City of Marietta Ga. on the 2d of November 1871 at 11 o’clock am At 12.3 OClock the 18th of January 1919(or 1910), while attending a meeting of the Board of Directors of Atlanta Title Guarantees Co. I was notified death of my beloved wife – It was a great shock & when I left home in the morning there was not the least inclination of the near approach of death – Great sympathy was shown by our friends and the floral offerings were beautiful and numerous, and the funeral on 17 was largely attended – Dr. J.S. French conducting the funeral service, which were very decent and comforting, using Proverbs XXX1, 10 to 29 as typical of her, as indeed it is. Her body rest in our lot in Oakland; Her spirit is with God, who gave it. Wm Danner Thomson was married to Sallie Collier Jones by Rev. W.M. Claybrook in the Church of the Nativity (Episcopal) on Wednesday June 30th, 1909 at 4 o’clock P.M. BIRTHS William Danner Thomson, 3d child and 2d son of Wm L. & Neva D.(or T.) Thomson was born at 417 E. Teach(?) Inc Street, Atlanta Ga, on the 18t of May 1876 at 4 o’clock PM – weight at birth 11 ½ lb. Baptized at 1:30 P.M. November 24t 1876 by Rev. W. F. Cook – At home. Albert Danner Thomason 4th child & 3d son of same parents was born at same place on the 15th of October 1874 at 5.35 oclock P.M. – weight 10 lb. Baptized Nov 2_ 1878 at 9 oclock A M by Rev W. F. Cook D.D. – at home. John Danner Thomson-5d child & 4d son of same parents was born at same place on Thursday December 4th 1879 at or about 3 oclock PM – weight 11 lb. Baptized July 1st 1880 by Rev. W. F. Cook D.D. assisted by Rev. W. A. Candler, at 7:30 p.m. at home. Ruth Thomson – 6t child & 2nd daughter of same parents was born at same place on on Wednesday, 28t of September 1881, at 3.45 O Clock A.M. She was very plump and of about the same size of other children but we did not weigh her Edith Thomson- 7t child & 3d daughter of same parents was born at same place, on Thursday 28t of Septr 1882, at 9.45 O Clock A M – weight 10 ½ lb. & was baptized at home by Rev. W. M. Crundy assisted by Rev. H. L. Crawley on Sunday March 4 1883 at 4 O Clock P M Logan Danner Thomson 8t child & 5t son of same parents was born at same place on Tuesday, 4t of November 1884, at __ O Clock P.M. – weight 11 lb. - Baptized at Home by Rev. R. J. Bigham Adelaide Thomson, 9t child & 4t daughter of same parents was born at S.W. Corner of ___sh Avenue & Jackson ___ in Atlanta Ga. (“Parker House”-resided) on Monday February 9t 1887 at (unreadable) weight 10 lb (unreadable) baptized by Rev. M. H. Dillard August 22d, 1887 at 6.30 O Clock P M Mildred Thomson 10 child & 5 daughter of same parents was born at 6.30 A M Sept 7 1889 at 4.49 North Boulevard CONTRIBUTOR’S NOTE: The previous and following pages have many water stains and is unreadable in several places. DEATHS Warner A. Thomson died Monday March 1st 1869 at his residence near Summit Point West Virginia – Aged 54 years & 3 months. He was buried at the Episcopal Church Berryville Va. Frances E. Thomson wife of W.A. Thomson and mother of Wm. L. Thomson ____ in Berryville Va on the 19th of February 1848 – Aged 20 years ____ 11 days. She was buried at the Episcopal Church Berryville Va. ____y Danner, wife of David S. Danner and mother of Neva Thomson, died Sept 2d 1854 David S. Danner, father of Neva D. Thomson, died March 17th 1856 Warner D. Thomson, a bright & lovely boy was translated from death to Heaven at 1 O Clock AM Monday July 7th 1873. He died of Congestion of bowel caused from teething at the age of 10 Mos & 11 days. Ruth, our dark eyed beauty (for she gave promise of very great beauty) was called heaven by our Heavenly Father at 2.15 A M Oct 13th 1881, that she might adorn the Paradise of God. Her death was the result of defective organism of the lungs probably Neva D. Thomson, model and beloved wife of Wm. L. Thomson departed this life about 12.30 O Clock noon, at her home 449 North Boulevard, January 18t 1910, after an illness of ___ eight months, not discovered until it had progressed too far to affect a curse. Tuberculosis! Wm. S. Thomson died Monday December 22d 1913 at about 5 A.M. He had been unconscious for ____ days, following a stroke of apoplexy on Nov 2___ BIRTHS Sallie Collier Jones fourth daughter and 6th child of Paul L. Jones and Lucy A. Jones, formerly Lucy A. Thomson, was born in Huntsville Ala. on the 15th of August 1876 William Sydnor Thomson II, first child of Wm D. and Sallie C. Thomson was born at #12 Springvale Road (Druid Hills) Atlanta Georgia on Friday May 6th 1910 at 9:10 A.M. Weight 9 ½ lbs. He was baptized Sunday Sept. 25th 1910 in the church of the Nativity at Huntsville Ala. by Rev. Carey Gamble Rector of said church. His God parents were Capt Geo. E. Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Foster. Lucien Warner Thomson second child of Wm D. and Sallie C. Thomson was born at #12 Springvale Road, Atlanta Ga- on Sunday October 12d 1913 at 12.50 A.M. weight 9 ¾ pounds DEATHS Sallie Jones Thomson – wife of W D Thomson died at our home 941 Springvale Road on August 21 1945 at 6.50 PM. She was buried on August 24th in Westview Cemetery
