Barton On Craig Couty Court March term 1886, Upon the application of John W. Barton for aid under an Act of the Gneral Assembly approved February 25th 1884. entitled an act to give aid to the citizens of Virginia, wounded and maimed during the late war while serving as soldiers or maimun(?). The Court having carefully considered the written application of the said John W. Barton verified by his oath and the evidence adduced in support of said application is of opinion that the said John W. Barton is entitled to aid under said act, and directs the said application, and all the evidence in tis case to be certified to do audition of Public Accounts -- A copy Teste F. B. G Army and find that he ws wounded by a gun shot wound in left hand causing score cent___tion of the tendons and weakness of the whole arm, also wounded in left thigh which caused contraction of the arms ____ which wore and ___er him unfit for manual labor. Virginia: In the Court of Craig County, March Term 1885 Upon the application of John W. Barton for aid under an act of the General Assembly, approved February 25, 1884, entitled "An act to give aid to the citizens of Virginia wounded and amimed during the late war, while serving as Soldiers or Marines." The Court having carefully considered the written application of the said John W Barton verified by his oath, and the evidence adduced in support of said application, is of opinion that the said John W. Barton is entitled to aid under said act, and directs the said application and all the evidence in the case to be certified to the Auditor of Public Accounts.
