John Sarver was born 5 June 1803 (register says Giles but it was formed from 
Montgomery in 1806). His parents were Henry Sarver & Nancy Champ who had 
married in Montgomery Co., VA 8 June 1801. John Sarver married to Martha Givens 
(date?) probably in Botetourt Co., VA.
