LOCATION: At "Ingleside" north of Rixeyville, Virginia, 1.5 miles on Route #29, thence west on Route #639, 3 miles, thence east on Route #626 .7 mile, thence north on Route #6[3]9 3.1 miles, thence west on private road .1 mile to house 3. DATE: 1847 4. OWNERS: Miss Bessie Campbell, Amissville, Virginia 5. DESCRIPTION: This bible is eleven and one fourth inches by eight and one fourth, and four inches thick. It is well illustrated with many engravings representing historical scenes made from celebrated paintings. It is in good condition. 6. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The bible was printed in 1847, and published by Robert Sears, and J. S. Redfield, 128 Nassua Street, Clinton Hall in New York City, New York. SUBJECT: The Crisler Family Bible 2. LOCATION: Southeast of Culpeper, Virginia, 3 miles on Route #3, thence north .2 mile to house known as, Old Massie Place, owned by Mr. Harry Berry 3. DATE: 1828 4. OWNERS: Mrs. Harry Berry, Culpeper, Virginia 5. DESCRIPTION: The bible is medium size, measuring ten and three quarters inches in length and eight and one half inches in width, with a thickness of about two and three quarter inches. The backs are of pasteboard. Some of the leaves at the front are missing, including the fly-leaf. Some of the back leaves are loose also, but the fly-leaf preceeding the New Testament is still there. 6. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: This bible was stereotyped, printed and published by H. and E.
