Culpeper County This cemetery is to the left and in front of the old Freeman house which is the subject of another report. It is fenced in with an iron fence but the grass and woods are not kept cut off very well as is the case of most country cemeteries. Nearly all of the graves are marked with stones that are inscribed. There are quite a few graves of recent date too. Virginia Freeman Botts wife of William F. Botts and oldest daughter of Geo. & Ann C. Freeman who died Oct. 1, 1850 in the 28th year of her age Bright be the peace of thy soul No lovelier spirit than thine E’er burst from its mortal control In the home of the blessed to shine James Henry Freeman eldest son of Geo. & Ann C.
