Thompson Cemetery Location: 9 miles northeast of Culpeper Court House. 2.42 miles north of Rixeyville on 29; thence west on private road .2 of a mile to lot. In garden to south of house at “Main View” about 50 yards. Culpeper County Also known as “Main View” cemetery. The yard here is not a large one. It is in the end of the garden. The grass has been allowed to grow rank and untrimmed, but this stones that have inscriptions are in good condition. There are several graves marked with common field stones. One tall monument stands in the midst of the smaller stones, showing plainly from quite a distance. This tall monument is the only stone here that hears any inscription.
