P. Thompson Cemetery Location: 4.1 miles east of Winston, Virginia, on Route #49; thence north 3.1 miles on Route #617; thence east on private road across a field 1 mile to cemetery. Culpeper County This is not a real cemetery, it is a corner of a field. The people who now own the land respect it because it was once a burying ground. As no one has cared for it, it has now grown up in weeds and brambles. There is only one stone that can be read, and that is in pieces. The present owners have picked the pieces up and laid them on a stump. It does not seem possible that one so young could receive the degree of D.D. but that is what is on the stone. John Lee Logan, D.D. Died 1842 Aged 21 years
