Sisk WISE -- Georgia Cathrine Sisk, 81, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Wise. Born in Culpeper County Aug. 16, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles Sisk and Beulah Sisk Montgomery of Culpeper. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Edward (Bessie) Moore of Harrisonburg, Va.; a brother, Charles Sisk of Culpeper; a half brother, Holly Sisk; and four half sisters, Allie Smith of Maryland, Mrs. Martha Clatterbuck of Harrisonburg, Mary Wright of Harrisonburg and Mrs. Joe (Alice) Morton of Wise. Georgia lived most of her life in Culpeper. She worked at Drug Fair for a number of years and then retired to take care of her mother. She moved to Wise after her mother's death to be closer to her sister, Alice. She had lived the past seven years at Heritage Hall in Wise. A private graveside service will be conducted at noon on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003, at Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, with Pastor John S. Farrar officiating. Georgia will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sturgill Funeral Home, Wise, is in charge of arrangements.
