The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ******************************************************************************** Will: William Kelly, St.Mark Parish, Culpeper Co, VA (1760) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I William Kelly of the County of Culpepper & Parish of St. Marks being sick and weak, but blessed be God for the same, of perfect sence & memory, do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following (viz): I give and bequeath my soul to my blessed maker who gave it me hoping thro' (through) the merits of my blessed saviour to have remission of my past sins & my body to be bury'd at the discretion of my Executor. 1st.  Item: My desire is that my funeral and just debts first be paid. 2nd.  I give to my well beloved friend John Barrow my whole estate, real and personal, except the legaces (legacies) herein after mentioned. 3rd.  I give my worthy friend Robert Green my young mare to him & his heirs forever. And lastly, I do appoint my well beloved friend John Barrow & Robert Green Executors of this my Last Will & Testament, revoking all former Wills by me made. WITNESS my hand this 9th day of May 1760.                                                     his                                               William  X  Kelly  (seal)                                                     mark Sign'd, seal'd & deliver'd in presents of: William Lightfoot Joseph Norman                          At a Court held for the County of Culpeper                           Thursday, (can't read) day of June 1760 This Last Will & Testament of William Kelly, dec'd, was exhibited to the court by Robert Green, gentleman, one of the Executors therein named & was proved by the oaths of William Lightfoot, Joseph Norman, witnesses thereto, ordered to be recorded, the said Executor at the same time refused to take upon him the burthen of the execution thereof. And                        At a Court held for the County of Culpeper                           Thursday, 16th day of October 1760 On the motion of John Barrow, one of the Executors in this Will mentioned, Certificate is granted him for obtaining a Probat thereof in due form, who having sworn to the same & given bond & security according to law.                                                       Teste:                                                       Roger Dixon, Cl.Cur.
