The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ******************************************************************************** Will: David McMurrin, St.Mark's Parish, Culpeper Co, VA (1750) IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I David McMurrin of St. Mark's Parish in the County of Culpeper being sick and weak but of sound and perfect sense and memory, praised be God for the same, therefore calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye, do make and ordain this and this only to be my last will and testament, that is to say: Principally, and first of all, I give and recommend my soul into the hands of almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a christian like manner at the discretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned.  And as touching my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to give me in this life, I give, devise and dispose of the same in manner and form following, viz: Imprimis: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Norman one shilling and she to have no more of my estate. Item: I leave and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife Margaret, after my just debts are satisfied and paid, all my personal estate of what kind soever during her natural life and after her decease, I give and bequeath the same to my son William McMurrin, his heirs and assigns forever &c. Lastly, I do nominate and appoint my loving wife Margaret McMurrin and my son William McMurrin whole and sole Executrix and Executor of this my Last Will and Testament revoking and disannulling all Wills heretofore made by me and confirming this and this only to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form aforesaid.
