Present: George Carrington, Wade Netheralnd, Stephen Bedford, John Netheland Gentleman Abrahma Chalton Plaintiff Against In trespass assault and battery Samuel Burton Defendant This day came the plaintiff by his attorney and therupon came also a jury towit: William Trigg, Thomas Williams, Jacob Winfrey, Micajah Mosby, John Taylor, Bartholomew Stovall, Richard Bandy, William Watson, Flamstead Ransome, Thomas Guttery, William Speirs and Willliam Hopson who being sworn well and truly to enquire off damages in the suit upon their Oath so say that the plaintiff hath sustained damages by occasion of the assault and battery in the declaration mentioned to six pence current money besides his costs therefore it id considered by the Court that the plaintiff recover against the said defendant his damages aforesaid in form aforesaid assessed together with his cost by him in this behalf expended George Carrington 1758 Abraham Charlton was a soldier for six months in Capt.
