Cumberland County to wit
We the undersigned commissioners acting under an order of the County Court 
of Cumberland dated 23rd August 1847, have proceeded to make a division of 
the real estate of Shadrack Oakley decd among the persons entitled thereto, 
and exhibits the platt of survey and division as hereto attached as our 
reports by survey the entire tracts contains 360 acres, which we have valued
at $4 per acre, and in making the division we have endeavored to give to 
each legatee a due portion thereof, according to quality, and have allotted 
the same by ballot and each legatees name written upon the allotments so 
made.  Given under our hands this 25th day of September 1847.

At a Court held for Cumberland County the 25th day of October 1847.  This 
report of the division of the real estate of Shadrack Oakley decd was 
presented in Court and ordered to be for exceptions til next Court, and at 
a court held for said County the 22nd Day of November 1847.  The same was 
again presented in Courts and no exceptions being filed thereto ordered to 
be recorded.

the above platt represents the est of Shadrack Oakley, dec containing by 
estimation 360 acres, which is divided amongst the children of sd (said) 
Oakley, by order of Court, as noted by marked lines, surveyed, platted, 
calculated, and divided, under the directions of commissioners, John T. 
Johns, John H. Parker and Chesley Brown this 25th day of September 1847 by 
Ford & Reynolds
