Oakley Jr, Eliza A. Oakley, Thomas J Oakley, James L Knight, in right of his wife Henrietta Oakley daughter of said Francis Oakley, dec. William L. Oakley, and George G Miller in right of wife Elizabeth J daughter of said Francis Oakley dec all of whom are a portion of the heirs and legal representatives of Shadrack Oakley dec of the County of Cumberland in Virginia hereby make Thomas G Oakley at present in said County of Cumberland our and every of our lawful attorney in fact, for us and in our names to ask demand sue for, recover, receive of and from Hezekiah Ford, administrator of said Shadrack or of and from any person having possession thereof our and every of our distributive shares of the estate of said Shadrack and all necessary receipts bonds and other instruments of writing, sealed or unsealed, for us and every of us and in our and every of our names, for and about the same we do likewise and in the same names empower our said attorney to make and employ one attorney in fact or more under him and to do all other acts and things necessary to accomplish the objects of this power at our expense.
