This Deed of Trust was presented, and with the certificate annexed, admitted to record. Teste: V. Vaiden, Dept. Clerk This Deed made this 1st day of January 1891 by and between P. F. Trent of the County of Cumberland and State of Virginia of the 1st part and Lucy Trent of the said County of the second part. Witness that for and in the consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars in hand, paid and secured to be paid to the said P. F. Trent whose of the receipted is here by acknowledges the said P. F. Trent doth bargain and sell to the said Lucy Trent all of the lands owned now by the said P. F. Trent namely where he now resides the sum of six hundred and thirty-three acres more or less, known as the Dr. John Trent farm upon which the Brick House now set be the same more or lest also one certain other track known as the Wheeler Track about one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or lest and also one other track known as Wheeler Track of thirty acres be the same more or lest and standing on the land books of said County in the name of R. B. Trent, also one certain other track of thirty acres be the same more or lest which said thirty acres stand on the said book John Trent Estate. The said land as described land is adjoining the lands of Edward Gilliam and also the lands of Col. Goode and the land of Farmer Estate and the land of Sarah Coleman also A. Irving the land of F. G. Coleman Estate and also the lands of J. H. Coleman Estate and others. The said P. F. Trent for the said consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars which has been paid to him by the said Lucy Trent in hand and the said P. F. Trent being fully satisfied of the surety doth by these present grant and bargain and sell and convey unto the said Lucy Trent all and every right which he now have and every right and title in all of the lands described in this said deed, and all other rights might come to him at the death of Mrs. R. B. Trent or all the right that now is in the said P. F . Trent in the land or lands where the said Mrs. R. B. Trent now live and the said P. F. Trent doth grant unto the said Lucy Trent every and all right and title in the herein described lands known and set out in this said deed and the said P. F. Trent warrant and defend the right and title of the said track or tracks of land with is set forth in this said deed namely one track of six hundred thirty three acres, one track of one hundred and fifty acres and one track of thirty acres known as John Trent Estate. Trent whose name is assigned to the writing above personally appeared before me in my said County and acknowledged the same to be his act & deed.
