Oakley For good and valuable consideration no necessary here to mention I James A Oakley have bargained and sold and hereby convey unto Thomas G. Oakley his heirs and assigns forever all my irght (sp right), title and interest of any kind in both the: real and personal estate of Shedrick (sp) Oakley my grandfather to have and to hold unto the said Thomas G. Oakley his heirs forever - and I bind myself to my heirs and representatives, to warrant and forever defend the title unto the Oakley against the claims of all persons claiming under and through me. Signed, sealed and delivered this 15th January 1850. Attest Ask 15 Jany/50 James A. Oakley State of Tennessee Personally appeared before me Wm E. Taylor, Clerk of the County Court of Franklin County, in said State. James A. Oakley the bargained named in the above Deed of Conveyance with whom I am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed said Deed for the purposes therein contained. Witness my hand at Office. This 15th day of January 1850 William A. Taylor, Clk In Cumberland County Court Clerks Office 23rd day of March 1860. This Deed of bargain and sale from James A.
