This Deed made this 28th day of February 1868 between Jonas Meador of the 
County of Cumberland and State of Virginia, Attorney for Thomas I?J Oakley 
and Richard F. Oakley of the County of Franklin State of Tennessee of the 
first part and Thomas G. Oakley of the County of Cumberland State of 
Virginia of the second part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the 
sum of Thirty five dollars cash paid by the said Thomas G. Oakley the said 
Jonas Meador Attorney of aforesaid sells and conveys to the said Thomas G. 
Oakley all the rights, title and interests, which the said Thomas I?J Oakley
and Richard F. Oakley has or may have in a certain tract or parcel of land, 
that formerly belonged to Frank Oakley=s heir the said land adjoins the 
lands of ? ?S Coleman, Jonas Meador, and others and lying in the County of 
Cumberland and containing fifty eight acres be the same more or less, the 
said Jonas Meador as attorney aforesaid warrant, generally the property 
hereby conveyed, witness the following signatures and seals.

In Cumberland County Court Clerks office 30th day of May?? 1868. This Deed 
of bargain and sale from Jonas Meador, atty for Thomas I?J Oakley and 
Richard F. Oakley to Thomas G. Oakley was received in this office 
acknowledged by Jonas Meador to be his act and deed, and admitted to record,
fifty cents in United States Internal Rev. Stamp being collected and 
canceled.
