First I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in a decent Christian like manner. Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved wife (unnamed) a childŐs portion of my estate during her natural life after all my just debts are paid. Item. I give and bequesth to my son Allen Murrey all land I have on the north side of Muddy Creek and a childŐs part of my personal estate and if any son should die without heir it is my desire that the land above mentioned may be equally divided between my daughters. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Phebe a equal part of my personal estate. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Polly a equal part of my personal estate. Item. It is my desire that all my land on south side of Muddy creek be sold to satisfy my creditors but in case they will not stay while it is sold and sell any of my personal estate that the land I have appointed to be sold may be laid out to best advantage in negroes to be equally divided among my children.
