Mrs. Gregory was a native of Pittsylania County, Va., and had lived in Abingdon since 1993. She was retired from Dan River Mills and was a member of Full Gospel Fellowship in Danville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Graham Gregory. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Jones of Danville; three sisters, Ruth McCormick, Dora Lee Hampton and Nancy Whittaker, all of Abingdon; two grandchildren, Capt. Randy Jones stationed in Kuwait, U.S. Marine Corps, and Adam Jones; and one great-grandchild, Hanna Jones. A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Schoolfield Cemetery in Danville. Rev. Roger Ewing will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington County Life Saving Crew, P.O. Box 65, Abingdon, VA.
