Oct. 29, 1839, Patriot of Greensboro, N. C. 
DIED, on Monday evening last, aged 27, MR. LEROY RICE of Danville. MR. RICE 
had been afflicted for several months with Pulmonary Consumption, and although 
he suffered much, he manifested throughout his illness much of that quietness 
of spirit for which he was distinguished in health. He was an industrious, 
honest, unobtrusive and useful member of our community, and has left a good 
name as a source of consolation to his afflicted wife and an inheritance to
