DICKNSON COUNTY, VA - CEMETERIES - Jasper Sutherland Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- LATITUDE/LONGITUDE 370411N 821734W (from USGS Quad Map: Nora, VA) DIRECTIONS >From Nora, VA head south on Rt 63 to Rt 604 on the left. Take 604 several miles between where Rt 660 crosses and before Aily, VA. After the intersection with 660, in less than 1/3 mile, the Middle Branch Freewill Baptist Church will be on your right, with a gravel road just before it. Take a right on this gravel road, and in about 1/4 mile there will be a road going off to the right, which is heavily rutted and I recommend a 4x4 vehicle. Take this road to the gate and walk the cow pasture to the cemetery. This is a working farm with cows, so please close the gate behind you. FIELD NOTES: 2/14/99 This cemetery is very well kept, at the edge of the pasture and the woods, is beautifully gated and fenced. It is clearly private property, though not marked as such. FORMAT Note: Items in parenthesis are the best guess of the researcher. Items in brackets are my comments. A double stone is two people on one stone - usually husband and wife unless otherwise indicated. SURNAME LIST BLAIR, KISER, LAMBERT, LEFTWICH, and SUTHERLAND.
