Delaney CLINTWOOD -- Evelyn M. Delaney, 75, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2002, at Bon Secour's St. Marys Hospital, Norton. She was a life long resident of Dickenson County, a member of the Clinchco Pentecostal Church and a retired miner for the Clinchfield Coal Co. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Att Delaney Jr. and his wife Linda, Clintwood, and Danny Delaney and his wife Frankie, Clintwood; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at the Clintwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow at the Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m. Saturday evening at the Clintwood Funeral Home with a service at 7 p.m. Clintwood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
