A lifelong resident of Dickenson County, she was the widow of Lacie Earl Delaney. An infant child, Charles Scott Delaney, also preceded her in death. Ms. Delaney was a member of Clintwood Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Christopher Read Delaney and Earl Wayne Delaney, both of Clintwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Delaney and John Gott, Blountville; her granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Hall of Clintwood; six nephews, John Delaney, Larry Delaney, Danny Delaney, Charlie Bill Chase, Joseph Lee Chase; and Jerry Burns Chase. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday from the Clintwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood.The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday at the Clintwood Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Clintwood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
