She was a native of Dickenson County but she had lived in Hiltons, Va., for 21 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Fletcher, and her parents, Milton and Melissa French. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; two sisters; one son, Covy French; and one grandson. She is survived by one daughter, Marie Fritz of Gate City and is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Church Cemetery, Ramsy Ridge section of McClure, Va. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel where a song service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Mullins Funeral Home is serving the Fletcher Family.
