Arrangements are incomplete at this time at Haysi Funeral Home, Haysi, Va. Bristol Herald Courier Wednesday, March 19, 2003 Adrian B. Robinson BIRCHLEAF, Va. -- Adrian B. "Abe" Robinson, 63, passed away Monday, March 17, 2003, at his residence. Born in Dickenson County, he was a son of Sarah D. Owens Robinson and the late Garland Robinson. He was last employed as a tool grinder, was a member of Frying Pan Freewill Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Kelly McKenzie of Auburn Hills, Mich.; a son, Scott Robinson of Maryland; a special niece and nephew-in-law, Cara and Mark Justice; three sisters, Audrey Owens of Tennessee, Jean Fuller of Pounding Mill, Va., and Netta Meisequer of Florida; three brothers, Leon Robinson of Castlewood and Bill Robinson and Mack Robinson, both of Birchleaf, Va.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2003, at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Mark Justice and Howard Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Cemetery, Birchleaf. Pallbearers will be Clint Robinson, Chris Robinson, Gary Fuller, Ricky Fuller, Terry Robinson, Bruce Robinson, Allen Cook, Lance Meisequer and Devin Robinson. VFW Post 8979, DAV Chapter 35 and American Legion 227 will conduct military graveside rites. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 19, after 6 p.m. at Haysi Funeral Home where an evening service will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Owens. The family would like to send a special thank you to Wanda Mullins, Susan Woods and Samantha Salyers for their help and kindness during his illness.
