Cemetery Location:  8.6 miles southwest of Dewitt, Virginia, thence .4 mile in 
                    the same direction on Route #609; thence 1 mile southeast on 
                    a private road; thence .2 mile on another private road to 
                    this cemetery.
                    Dinwiddie County

Unknown, but prior to 1902

Riddick Barnes and others.

DESCRIPTION:

There are only four tombstones to be seen in this graveyard, which is very must 
over-run with honeysuckle.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:


James H. Abernathey

Died Nov. 9, 1902
Aged 80 years


Francis M. Perkins
Wife of J.H. Abernathey
Died February 7, 1907
Aged 75 years
Another link is broken in our household band,
But a chain is forming in a better land.


John M. Barnes
Born November 18, 1843
Died February 9, 1913
Though thou art gone fond memory clings to thee


Mrs. Bettie Abernathey Barnes
Died February 12, 1922
Aged 75 years
