Dinwiddie County DATE: About 1888. OWNERS: The estate on which the graveyard is located is now owned by Mrs. Rufus Chappell. (1937) DESCRIPTION: The burial plot is enclosed with a plain wire fence and there are three tombstones to be found. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following inscriptions are to be seen on the markers: To the memory of My dear Husband John S. Blick Born September 18, 1812 Died January 27, 1888 Aged 75 years 4 months and 9 days He is not dead but asleep in Jesus. I shall see him again. In Remembrance of Miss Bettie H. Blick Daughter of John S. & Adelina T. Blick Born August 2, 1857 Died June 6, 1908 There is no death the star goes down, To rise on some fairer shore. Bright is Heaven’s jewel crown. To shine forevermore. In Memory of Our Mother Adelina T. Blick wife of John S.
