Research made by Mamie Fraser Cemetery Location: .6 mile northeast of Dinwiddie, Virginia, on Route #1; thence east 2.5 miles on Route #141; thence south .9 mile on private road. Dinwiddie County DATE: About 1853. OWNERS: Mrs. Effie Chappell. (1936) DESCRIPTION: There are several tombstones to be found in the graveyard and it is located now in the middle of the forest. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following persons are known to be buried there: Ada Prince Chappell Born November 26, 1849 Died May 24, 1921 James Henry Chappell Born 1800 Died the 23 day of October 1853 Maria Wrenn Chappell Date of birth & death not known. Jacob Chappell Date of birth & death not known. The following inscriptions are to be found on the tombstones: Sergeant Benjamin F. Chappell Epes Company C.S.A. Born February 14, 1843 Died March 29, 1891 Oliver Wrenn Chappell Company 1 3 Va. Cav. C.S.A. W.G.
