DINWIDDIE COUNTY, VA - CEMETERIES – Hardy Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- Source: Library of Virginia Digital Collection LVA Titled Files: Survey Report, The Hardy family graveyard: 1936 Sept. 9 Research made by Dorothy Gray Pilout Cemetery Location: .5 mile west of Pool Siding, Virginia, and about 100 yards from and on the north side of Cox Road. Dinwiddie County DATE: 1890, date on oldest marker. OWNERS: The Hardy Family. DESCRIPTION: The Hardy graveyard is located a short distance west of the Hardy home. It is on a slight hill and is enclosed by a wire fence. There are several graves which apparently are very old, but have no markers. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The following are inscriptions copied from the stones in the graveyard: Mary F. Wife of J. T. Hardy and Daughter of William P. & Mary H. Clarke Born Nov. 11, 1854 Died Feb. 3, 1890 She has done what she could Dorothy Daughter of T.C. & E.M.
