OWNERS: Colonel Joseph W. Harper. DESCRIPTION: This graveyard is southwest of the Harper home, each grave is enclosed separately with an iron railing. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Inscriptions on tombs: Susan G. Harper wife of Col. Joseph W. Harper Died Dec. 12, 1826 Sarah J. Harper wife of Col. Joseph W. Harper Died Sept. 22, 1856 Sallie G. Harper wife of Col. Joseph W. Harper Died March 28, 1882 By his request Col. Joseph W. Harper was buried on this side at the feet of his three wives. There is no marker to his grave.
