Cemetery Location:  9 miles south of Dinwiddie, Virginia, on Route #626; thence 
                    .4 mile east on Route #665; thence south .8 mile on Route 
                    #681; thence west about .8 mile on private road.
                    Dinwiddie County

DESCRIPTION:

The burying ground is enclosed with a fence.  There are two tombstones to be 
seen.  They are surrounded with woods.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

The tombstones in the graveyard bear the following inscriptions:

Walter E. Harrison
Son of Dr. Richard Ellis & Ann Goodwyn Harrison
Born the 22nd of February 1844
Died the 22nd of May 1860
Aged 16 years and 3 months


Edgar H. Harrison
Company D, 13th Va. Cav.
C.S.A.
Son of Dr. Richard Ellis & Ann Goodwyn Harrison
Born April 13th 1846
Died March 20, 1890

Robert Harrison, born February 27, 1767
Died June 13, 1844.

Sallie E. Harrison, wife of Robert Harrison
Died June 27, 1828.

James W. Harrison, son of Robert and Sallie E. Harrison
born January 17, 1817.  Died July 1838.

Richard Ellis Harrison, son of Robert & Sallie E. Harrison
born May 29, 1813.  Died November 9, 1887.

Ann Goodwyn Harrison, wife of Dr. Richard Ellis Harrison
born May 11, 1820.  Died July 1882.

Norborne Putney Harrison, son of Richard Ellis and Anne Goodwyn Harrison
born September 12, 1844.  Died October 24, 1862.

Hendrick Stetlings Harrison, son of Dr. Richard Ellis and Ann Goodwyn Harrison
born June 16, 1841.  Died December 12, 1914.

Polly Reese, a friend of the Harrison family, died March 17, 1850.
